|Who wants to be a millionaire?|
FROM: MR KATOTO KABILA
FROM SOUTH AFRICA JOHANNESBUG
This is to acknowledge the good report we receive about your personality through a good con tact we made from south African chamber of commerce.First, I will introduce my humble self to you, I am Mr Ktoto Kabila, a cousin to the late President Laurent Kabila of the (DRC) DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO, (formerly known as Zaire)Due to the war presently ranging in our republic, the late president Laurent Kabila has been using myself through the diplomatic means to send money out of the Republic with fear that he may be overthrown by coup at any time. This we have done on two consecutive occasions, on the third trip myself and his aides decided to divert this delivery, which amounted to US$18.3 MILLION (EIGTEEN.THREE MILLION UNITED STATES DOLLARS). This we have done since we are presently exiled insouth Africa. This fear of Laurent Kabila was actualized onthe 16th January, 2001, when he was assassinated by his bodyguard who was hired by the opposition group.
This money I have deposited into a security companycontaining this fund was not disclosed to them for security purposes. Due to short coming and restriction pervadingsouth Africarefuge! e policy , we came upwith the idea of a foreign investment for the fund with the possibility of a joint stock with foreign partners.
My main objective of contacting you is to ask your assistance in transferring this fund into your private or company¡¯s account in your country. There is no risk involved as this is confidential and we decided to let you have 25% of the total sum, 5% will be set aside for any expenses which might be incurred by both parties during this transaction, 70% is for me and my colleagues which we would like to invest in your country under your close supervision and direction.
On the receipt of your acceptance, I shall give more clarification on the modalities needed for the successful completion of this transaction.
Thank you and God bless
